Savernake Forest Table Height: 90cm / 3' Width: 152cm / 5' Depth: 61cm / 2' all dimensions approx Artist's Statement Savernake Forest is one of the oldest woodlands in Britain. It is surrounded by sites important to the ancient Britons, such as the preshistoric chalk figure of the White Horse and the Celtic monument of Stonehenge. The inspiration for this forged steel table came as a result of a visit to Savernake Forest and the discovery of two beautiful trees almost 'forged' together in growth. The table top can be supplied in marble, granite or Welsh Slate if required.
